Graveside services for Anthony Douglas Hodges, Sr., 60, of Greenwood will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Bear Creek Cemetery, 8551 County Road 548, Itta Bena, MS 38941. He passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Crystal Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Greenwood. Tony was born on March 4, 1965, in Greenwood, to Donald Ray Hodges and Betty Hodges Trotter. He worked as a mechanic and farmer for many years before his health began to fail. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Hodges, and his stepfather, Earl Trotter. He is survived by his mother, Betty Trotter of Greenwood; stepmother, Helen Hodges of Schlater; son, Anthony Douglas Hodges, Jr. of Cleveland; six brothers, Timmy Hodges (Pat) of Cleveland, Tommy Hodges (Maria) of Greenwood, Ray Hodges of Houston, Texas, Chris Hodges (April) of Schlater, John Hodges (Sarah) of Itta Bena, and Jason Hodges of Schlater; two sisters, Shannon Vargas of Greenwood and Rachel Lewis (Terrell) of Schlater; and two stepsisters, Charlotte Gilmer (BB) of Greenwood and Linda Narmour (James) of Carrollton. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
