William Denton "Bill" Hollingsworth, 60, of Inverness, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at his home.

Bill was born August 9, 1960, in Indianola to Denton "Dude" and Jean Farish Hollingsworth. He worked for Duett Landforming for many years. Bill enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda Hollingsworth Kimbriel; and brother-in-law, Mike Kimbriel.

Bill is survived by one sister, Carolyn Hollingsworth White (Henry) of Eupora; three nieces, Ashlie Kimbriel Whatley (Jim), Heather White, and Mary Katelynn Kimbriel Thompson (Thomas); nephew, Chris Kimbriel; and numerous great nieces and great nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 18, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Southside Cemetery in Inverness. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
