William Clyde "Bill" Maloney, Jr., 82, of Indianola, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson with his loving family by his side.

He was born October 30, 1934 in Pascola, Missouri and was the son of William and Thelma Neely Maloney. Bill married Wanda DePriest in 1958 and together, they made their home in Indianola. He was the owner of Klondike Farms and was a United States Army Veteran.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Shelton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Wanda DePriest Maloney of Indianola; two sons, Perry Maloney and his wife Ilene of Sunflower, and Brad Maloney and his wife Lisa of Inverness; daughter, Melissa McNeese and her husband Joe of Madison; four sisters, Doris Kelly of Greenwood, Virginia Redd of Germantown, Tennessee, Emma Sullins and her husband Jim of Collierville, Tennessee, and Mona Nash and her husband Ray of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Maegan Lampley, Matthew Maloney, Morgan Maloney, Brennon McNeese, Jordan Maloney, and Abby McNeese; and two great grandchildren, Watson and Barrett Lampley.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home, 634 Highway 82 West, Indianola, MS. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
