William Thomas Walker, 60, of Indianola, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Indianola Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Indianola. William Thomas, affectionately known as "Tommy", was born February 18, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Carl and Bettye Ellis Walker. He always made everyone smile, and even though he was nonverbal, he always remembered everyone he would meet. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; Carl and Bettye Walker. He is survived by one sister, Pam Walker Whatley and her husband Davis Lee of Indianola; four brothers, Carl Walker and his wife Janice of Texas, John Walker and his wife Lisa of North Carolina, Joe Walker and his wife Denise of Florida, and Glenn Walker and his wife Amy of Virginia; and eight nieces and nephews. A private family funeral service will be held Friday, April 24, 2020, with Father Peter Nguyen officiating. Burial will be in Greenville City Cemetery.
