In loving memory of Willie Mae Shook, "Billie", of Bulverde, Texas, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by family. Born on January 19, 1947, in Indianola, Mississippi, Billie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and servant of Christ. She attended Hillside Fellowship Church of Spring Branch and was actively involved in the Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center. Billie had a real passion for beauty and life as she continued to teach, travel the world, paint beautiful art, and spend countless hours with her ever-growing family, all while living with metastatic breast cancer.

Billie was an educator throughout her life with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Ole Miss and a Master's of Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She continued teaching art to the local homeschool community even in retirement.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Anthony Boyer, and her father, Hal Bradley Boyer. She is survived by her children, Dawn Michelle Boggess (Jerry), Andrea Elizabeth Noland (Robert), Suzanne Denise Donnelly (Glenn), David Wolfe Shook, her brother, Hal Bradley Boyer, Jr., her sister, Mary Boyer Bellipani, fourteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Sacred Mission Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Billie in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to honor and celebrate her life at Indianola City Cemetery in Indianola, MS, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
